Well, duh!  What's the use of an overpriced piece of carbon that you'd
worry about losing or having stolen, compared to some sort of electronic
equipment?  Such as, say, a computer that costs less than some of the
"nicer" rings?  ;)  (HDTV would be nice, too....)


It is a bit harder for the woman to sit or stand in such a way that she can "casually" place her left hand in a position so that the person she is talking to will notice a computer or a HDTV unit on the third finger and congratulate her . . .
