No it doesn't. This has been discussed at length on the list, and the evidence is that trickle down economics does not work. It helps the rich get richer, but the other 80% or 90% do not benefit very much at all.
Further, the GDP grows more slowly with trickle down economic policies than with more progressive taxation.

I didn't know that trickle down = less progressive taxation. Does that mean a flat tax < trickle down < progressive taxation?
