Out of curiosity, has anyone an opinion on which is a better option: leasing or buying a car?
Gosh - so many variables... How long do you expect to keep it Are you self-employed/contractor/salaried How many miles do you travel a year What sort of car you're after (depreciation variables) How much tax you pay and your existing deductibles Do you have the cash lying around not doing much What state you're in (tax variances) etc etc
Leasing saves me about USD8,000 per year over buying, but it's not always going to be that way...
