Sure, just not as bad as George Bush, right? It's exactly like leftists with Stalin in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. He was bad, of course - getting them to admit that was like pulling teeth, but most of the time you could do it. Just, well, not as bad as so many other things that were so much more important. You can believe it or not believe it as you wish. I think the evidence is pretty clear that it (and many worse things) happened.
