By the way, if a 27% cut in benefits is not such a big deal, then why
aren't all the over 50's volunteering to take that cut THEMSELVES and
the over 65's take it NOW?

Screw the next generation is alive and well in the baby-boomer culture.
It's the American way, I guess. No doubt the next generation will try to
continue the tradition, and so on until the unsustainable progression
finally cracks.
