at such dishonesty- one expected the Prince to be actually a prince,

I knew from the very start that Voldermort was not the Prince. There was a
big clue before the book came out.  (Rowling said he wasn't.) :-)

I was relieved. The constant references to Moldyfart were actually getting pretty trite. There was a nice break from the JKR formula here -- actually the whole book was a breach from the trend set in the first three or four volumes -- that I found quite refreshing.
