Agreed. I quit playing competitive Schmindoors about two years ago, but I still can't avoid having a pretty good idea what the new rules are. The excuse "we don't know the rules, so we can't play by them" is best met by scorn & derision. Or, of course, by playing by them and using the standard WFDF 'novice consideration' clause 404.18D, since the Schmindoor rule set is quite cunningly devised as addenda to WFDF Article IV.
