That is a pretty big limitation as nearly all CAD NURBS geometries have 
trimming curves.  Someone could work on implementing reparameterization of 
trimmed NURBS to untrimmed NURBS (and this would be a useful feature to have), 
but there is some complex math and data structure work involved.  That was part 
of my original plan for robust tessellation of NURBS, but Keith found a better 
way.
