At the beer festival this year I had to bring in a pretty raw beer (my Very Pale Ale) straight from the fermenter, because we run out of beer. I gave it those 3-4 Atm of CO2, closed the valve (didn't trust our piping), and shaked it for a few minutes. Repeated three times, and started serving the stuff. It worked.
