Hej Bo

De 86% har jeg fra BeerCalc. Jeg har målt urten ved 20°C.

What is Mash Efficiency?

The amount of starch actually converted to sugar, compared with the total
starch available, is called the efficiency of the mash. Most homebrewers
achieve efficiencies of 75% to 85%, though many are now obtaining
efficiencies well into the 90%+ range. An ideal or 100%-efficient original
gravity figure (called the potential extract) is assumed for the grain
(based on laboratory measurements), and the actual gravity per pound per
gallon obtained is divided by that figure to calculate efficiency. The
actual potential extract figure for your grain is rarely known, so a
"typical" figure is used. The 1995 Special Issue of Zymurgy contains a
thorough chart of potential extract figures for many grains.

Hej

Jeg har ikke lige så meget styr på effektivitetsbegrebet, men jeg syntes
at have hørt at den teoretiske grænse er 80%. I så fald kan jeg godt
forstå at du ikke før sige det for så bliver du brændt på bålet ;-)
