Hmm, I have a similar bucket system, and it has never got stuck yet. How small are your holes? I use something like 2.5 or 3mm. And I have a shitload of holes there. Never counted them, but I don't think there is enough plastic to make one more hole without connecting to its neighbours. Some of them are already touching. So my first advice could be to drill more holes, if you can. For the second, increase the final mash temperature to well over 70 degrees, so as to make things more fluid. I often use boiling water for sparging, but that is said to be bad magic. I guess it is all right, if I add it so slowly that the mash temperature doesn't get too high. Good luck!
