Yes.
I never keep the pressure on my kegs. My CO2 won't fit inside the beer
fridge, and I never bothered to make a hole for the tube to go through.
I just tap the beer as far as it reasonably goes, and then open the door
and connect the CO2 for a few moments to add some more pressure.. That
has worked quite all right.
