Just a week ago I had my first experiences with the same setup. Worked
fine for me.

When you put the tap together, do not screw the CO2 capsule in so tight
that it opens. Also, turn the adjusting screw all the way to minimum.
Now the beer will come out under its own pressure. If that is too much,
just pour a few more glasses - the small air space over the beer will
quickly loose pressure.

When the beer starts running too slowly, screw the CO2 capsule all the
way in. Open the tap and let beer run into a glass while you adjust the
screw slowly. As soon as you get a decent flow, stop mucking with it.

When you are not using the keg for a while, turn the pressure down, so
as not to overcarbonate the beer. When opening again, see how the
pressure goes, and adjust accordingly.

I had no problems with it.

All my colleagues agreed that

   it was beer anyway

(Actually, a few of them used slightly more positive terms, and they
drank a lot of the stuff, even when we had fine imported beers to choose
instead...)
