I recon that it is mostly the phosphoric acid in iodophor that alu
doesn't like. And that in those concentrations, and those short times,
it takes a long time before it damages the alu.
In short, I sanitize my partykegs, Cornelius kegs, and fermenting
buckets with iodophor, and, as you expect
it will be beer anyway
