There is also another possibility, probably not for this year, but later: Max 1 beer per brewer That means, send in your best, and only your best. No point in carpet bombing every category in the hope of a random winning. And as a side effect, there would be less work in judging the beers, as the number would be lower. I bet this would also improve the overall quality.
