If you know the basics of Git, you may provide a patch against master,
so that developers can easily see what you want to change (the

I've updated the issue, Federico: it seems to be closely related to
Oliver and Julia's work. I created a patch file and attached their
bagpipe-219.ly and the patch to the issue.
