I would suggest to add this to the GNU coding
standards:
I'm not sure program_name should be in the coding standards. If/since
gnulib functions require it, then I can see that it should be in the
gnulib doc. But programs that don't use gnulib don't necessarily have
to have it. Do they? (I mean, libc might or might not define it, but
if nothing in the program uses it, it doesn't matter.)Thanks, karl
