Note, gplv3 has a gnu.org address, not fsf.org. My intuition is that it's not a good idea because it adds another variation for people and tools to deal with, adding more work and complexity, and I don't think there is any real problem with the existing text. People know they can look things up online and the current text has the benefit of informing people about a way of getting the license they probably didn't know about.
