I have noticed that chapter numbers in standards.info are out of sync because of an incorrect '@chapter' command:

While we are at it, there is an inconsistency between maintain.texi and standards.texi; they both contain an accented 'é', but maintain.texi encodes it directly in UTF-8, while standards.texi uses the (IMHO preferable) texinfo command "@'e":
