`rtems_partition_get_buffer()` hands the application a buffer which the chain of free buffers used as a node. The application may write to every byte of it. `_Partition_Free_buffer()` appends the buffer without a reset of the node. A debug build therefore ends `rtems_partition_return_buffer()` with a failed assertion in `_Chain_Append_unprotected()`. The test `regulator01` shows this. Found while running the test suite with `RTEMS_DEBUG`.
