FWIW, I intend, soon, to merge my changes to the existing modules back
into trunk, since the only dependency I added was commons-lang3, which
has FINALLY been released after a wait of > 1 year. :P For my
dynamic stuff things are slightly more complicated:
 - I am depending on the v2 branch of commons proxy, but only for test
and optional provided library code. There is not technically a
runtime requirement for it.
 - Over at Commons Simo has been graciously helping me to get
[functor] positioned for graduation to a proper (now sandbox)
component; [functor] will be a dependency of the finished [proxy] v2.
 - A decision should be made about the final destination of the
dynamic stuff (I would be glad for it to live along with the other
bval modules as in the sandbox repo [1]).

Given the first point above, one could theoretically make a case for
an exception to the typically wise policy of "no snapshot
dependencies." Given the second point, one could make a case for
simply waiting as Simo seems to be an inexaustible source of energy
and code at the ASF. :)
