I am designing a satellite PT mount for my satellite antenna. I know about
not pointing lasers at airplanes and I do NOT plan on that.

But what I am looking for is what pointer they use to show stars in the
sky. I want to use Predict and track Comm Satellite automatically. But what
I also want to do is point it out as the unit pans.
I am going to use a Yagi and mount it on top of that. I plan on having a
12v battery to drive the unit. I also am going to use a .9 step angle motor
with 57oz hold power. So the unit can not be very heavy. I also plan on
using about 3 amp - 5 amps, for safety, say 8 amps with onboard computers
and drivers. I plan on using shielded cable in the antenna and to the
radio. The frequencies are from 137mhz to 440mhz.

I hope that is enough info to give me an idea.
And thoughts?
