I'd suggest Netbeans 6.7 IDE which can work your way through not only
C/C++,Java,Python,Ruby,Ajax ,Maven,PHP,SOA n many more

Ah ,and I have utilized both MS-VC 2008 /2006 & Code blocks both cause I
am into Development over for Fedora ,but I find Netbeans much more
easeful.Again IDE & OS are individual choices.I have them over Fedora
11,Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope,Opensuse & Mandriva Spring
