So, it boils down to the following options:
1) Leave as is:
boot from CD (default)
boot from CD, console mode
boot from hard drive
boot with magnifier
boot with screen reader
2) move accessibility to the top
boot with screen reader
boot with magnifier
boot from CD (default)
boot from CD, console mode
boot from hard drive
3) Put hard drive on top:
boot from hard drive
boot from CD (default)
boot from CD, console mode
boot with magnifier
boot with screen reader
Accessibility (screen reader) has to either be at the top or the bottom
to aid the blind.
To me, it boils down to:
(1) should the default "boot from CD" be at the top of the list
(sacrificing (2)), or
(2) should booting from the hard drive be at the bottom of the list
(sacrificing (1))
There are other options, such as putting booting from the hard drive be
at the top of the list, but these are not as good.
If it's up to me, I'd leave it as is (option 1). Do others have an opinion?
Thanks,
Jack
P.S. I realize this won't be fixed for 2008.11, but we can take care of
this now so that the needful can be done when normal (non-stopper) bugs
can be fixed at a later time.
