I am working on a quick write up on exactly what type of image the Distribution Constructor (DC) is expected to deliver for the sparc prototype.
Will X/Gnome desktop be supported for sparc prototype? I heard that it will not be supported. Please confirm. If it indeed is not supported, DC will only produce images that boots to the console, and users will have to login as the user jack. Since there will be no desktop, users will not be able to do the GUI install. Is this a valid assumption? Thanks, --Karen
