Jan and Martin: Does your machine also had a console attached ? This is a known bug in AI.
After you use installadm create-client with the -B option to specify console=ttya or console=ttyb. After install, it does not edit the grub menu to contain the right console device if your system also had a console attached. jan damborsky wrote: > Hi Martin, > > > On 03/13/09 11:59, Martin Englund wrote: >> Jan, >> >> I updated the grub menu to read: >> default=0 >> timeout=30 >> title OpenSolaris >> kernel$ >> /I86PC.OpenSolaris-1/platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix -v -B >> install_media=http://10.6.56.107:5555/server/images/osol-0906-106a-ai,install_boot=http://10.6.56.107:5555/server/images/osol-0906-106a-ai/boot,install_service=osol-0906-106a,livemode=text >> >> >> module /I86PC.OpenSolaris-1/x86.microroot >> >> But it still doesn't display more than: >> Copyright 1983-2008 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
