This is a case where the architecture expressed in the document 
shouldn't be taken too literally.  We'd fully expect that some Instance 
Configuration elements will be shared, while others will not be.  Once 
we get into design and implementation this will likely translate into 
multiple classes and multiple checkpoints in the execution.
