Hey Drew-

I think I like where the idea of the 2s delay was headed, but in practice I
don't like it. Something that happens often with me, with systems in EST and
Central, I sometimes go to Central, then correct myself. With the 2s wait to
get to a new first letter, I end up in Central, hitting "E" over and over and
just staying there. Yes, you stop 2s and then hit "E", all is well. But, that's
a fairly odd user experience.

Honestly, I liked just hitting the first letter repeatedly. I have seen that in
other tools, and it feels natural to me.

To be explicit in what I'm referring to: hit "C" and land on "Central Time",
hit "C" again and land on "Central Time - Indiana - Perry County", hit "E",
land on "Eastern Time". etc.

So… while I hate to unwind so much work, in my opinion the 2s delay to pick up
a new first letter seems overkill, and a bit counterintuitive.
