How about Envoy? - "A messenger or representative, esp. one on a diplomatic
mission".

Seems appropriate based on the second goal of phone gap: "The second goal of
PhoneGap is for the project to cease to exist. This is not a nihilistic
sentiment, rather we at the PhoneGap project are providing a reference
implementation for web browsers to assist and guide the standardization process
of browser APIs."

> come up with a new project name

> During the transition of the PhoneGap project to Apache, the project was
> renamed to "Callback", due to some concerns with the name "PhoneGap". It
> seems that "Callback" isn't a great name either - it's a commonly used term,
> and so internet searches of "Callback" bring up too many non-relevant hits.
> Got something better?
