Last Thursday a small group of us (6) danced Hull's Victory (trad version
with allemands 1x)
to Rodney's Millers recording. The R&L were a bit tricky and sometimes #2 M
forgot to be
in position to for the forming wave.
We enjoyed it even though we missed the anniversary date. I had looked up the
history, but
only managed a garbled version. We had a nautical connection though, one of the
dancers, Annette, in 1977 was the first woman to sail single-handed back and
forth across the Tasman Sea.
