Hi Chris, I don't think Jean was saying what you think. "The ultimate result of shielding men from the results of folly is to fill the world with fools" means, DON'T ban or expel anybody, even if you think what they're saying is folly, because we will all turn into fools without having our ideas tested. In other words, Jean was trying to agree with you.
