> Is there something I'm missing? Lot's of things. 1) It's UDP, not TCP. Port scanning a UDP port doesn't always says it's open if it's open. If you don't get any packet back, the scanner says it's closed. Read Nmap manual and you'll understand. 2) don't compare to freeswitch. Freeswitch uses also TCP for SIP. Are you trying to scan on TCP or UDP ? 3) i can't understand if this is a problem or not. If it's not a problem and CW works, then this is the wrong place to ask about IP protocols questions. If it's a problem/bug/misbehaviour, then you'd at least say which release you're using and post at least some logs. 4) Referring to the post where you say that it doesn't make/receives calls, go back to 3) and post some logs. My crystal ball is broken, ATM 5) make sure you have asterisk and Freeswitch turned off and not running at the same time.
