oops, sorry! Not combative. It's all good. I just wish we would all ban together sometimes as programmers. I realize that it probably won't work but at least it is fun! And I don't just mean American programmers. I am reading about horror stories in India about how many hours they work and how much crap they put up with.
A captain of a thin Wide-body airline makes $150,000k a year (and deserves it) but I wonder if they would be making that much if they didn't have such a strong union and so many union laws.
