I would say 25% of my "day sails" are actually "night sails". During
the spring, summer, fall, I try to get out 1 night a week after
work. This usually means putting the boat in around 5 or 6 and
sailing till 9, 10, 11 depending on the weather. We also try to get
away for a week overnighting once a year and the occasional 3 day
weekend. For me weekend sailing is good, weekday sailing is much
better, and weeknight sailing is next to heaven.
