Your facts are, of course, correct Brian (and Steve and Sue) . What
I think Will is asking for is that during this period of the SOW
campaign any severe criticism/camapigns against BW for certain
aspects of their past policy that could take up the time of, say,
Eugene (External Communications Manager) are put on the back burner.
Notice I say put on the back burner, not extinguished altogether.
The only immediate exception that I see to this request is the G&S
bridge and bridge keeper situation which seems to me to be so
urgent, and potentially final, that it should continue.
If the SOW campaign doesn't succeed then we may be faced with a
situation where certain canals are allowed to fall into disrepair
and others may be closed altogether. If this is not to happen then,
I suspect, that putting certain cause-celebre on the back burner for
a while will be considered a relatively small price to pay compared
to the potential long term damage to the system.
