If you read Paul's contribution and compare it with yours Barry you will find a number of significant differences. Paul's posting at least recognised the difficulties in orgnaising an event of this sort; it was sensitive to the fact that immediately following the event people are likely to be tired by the considerable amount of work they have contributed, they are likely to be vulnerable to postings that say things like 'I wasn't that impressed' and 'I won't be busting a gut to go next year.' You may also notice that Paul's posting contained a series of specific and positive suggestions for improving the event. Yours didn't. Personally I am not at all slighted, Barry. However, I do feel protective towards those who did much more than I did to get this event off the ground. People like, for instance, Gareth, the 22-year-old wrg volunteer who gave me a hand Saturday. It was his first time helping out and he spent half the morning carrying a ton of magazines up three flights of stairs so we could get them distributed and so secure sponsorhip money.
