I can't wait for 1st July because lots of things I want to be able to do
(like enjoy assorted social gatherings from pubs to concert halls) will
become available to me without me becoming nauseous and smelling
disgusting. At present I have to weigh up whether I want to do something
enough to put up with the discomfort.

Sadly, some smokers fail to recognise just how restrictive and
unpleasant it can be for the rest of us

As a recent non-smoker some life long non smokers tell me how wonderful it
will be that they will be able to go to the pub when smoking is banned. I
wonder how true that is and how many smokers will stay at home and drink
beer from the supermarket. It's a problem about how much you restrict
others freedom. Should we ban peanuts in pubs as some people are allergic to
them ? Should we ban the planting of rape as in the spring as when I'm
boating I find the smell unpleasant ?
