Hi All, I just clicked on the link above and was met with comments regarding, the Queens honours, racism, aliens, one comment that said "malcolm , malcolm ,malcolm you stupid little man." lots of posters who do not have the courtesy to give their real names and NOTHING about canals at all. I have been a member of this list for years as have many of the regular posters. I have made some real friends from this list. Friends who help, advise and support and give freely of their expertise. Yes, we all have views and put them forcefully, nothing wrong with that. I think is it a shame that many of our lurkers do not join in more regularly but the regulars can't make people join in if they don't want too. List's are not in competition and each to their own. I am staying here and thank all those for their contributions' and to George and Bob for their background work in keeping us all in line. Might I suggest that someone needs to do that on the canalworld site. Regards, Andrew Web Site www.andrewdyke.co.uk Web Site www.mayorofevesham.co.uk
