Date - 23 /05/08
Day - Friday
Start - 1000 Cropredy
End - 1800 Napton Top Lock

We set off on a very overcast morning not getting away untill 10
o'clock. We paid the price of this late start by following boats up all
the locks, even though we met several boats the timing didn't help much.
In the Claydon flight the dull weather changed to rain just to add to
the slow progress. During the afternoon things improved greatly with the
sun breaking through strongly and stayed with us untill the top of
Marston Doles when the skys opened with heavy rain and thunder, luckily
we were pulling in to fill with water just as it started so were able to
sit inside the boat for the worst of the weather, we then locked down
the final two locks to moor at our home mooring at about 6pm.
Since we left the mooring on Friday 19 April we have done 180 hrs and
covered some 340 miles
