Towpath Talk mentioned this in the August edition. Apparently BW have changed 
contractors on the Oxford / Grand Union and these have inherited a large 
backlog. The contractors have employed 18 permanent people to do the work under 
normal circumstances but in view of the backlog, they have currently employed 
an extra 14. There was a lot of activity around Nuneaton about 4 weeks ago so 
they seem to be working their way along the system.
