IIRC, when one downloads a file with BBC Iplayer, it is done in a P2P style, 
so it places less load on the BBC server, and you get bits of the file off 
of all the other users that have downloaded the file (and still have it on 
their hard drive - for one month? - unless manually deleted).  Thus you have 
probably been supplying lots of others users with some video data....  and 
yes, you probably agreed to it in the small print.
