To quote from the leaflet I was given when I asked for a hard copy of
the winter stoppage list in the BW tent at the National last weekend:
"After consultation with national boating organisations we have decided
- now that access to the internet is so widespread - to maintain
stoppage details exclusively on waterscape.com. This means that the risk
of boaters making cruising plans on the basis of out of date information
is greatly reduced"
I've just checked and there is nothing showing on Waterscape re the HNC.
I do stick myself in the camp with those who try to defend/support BW in
these difficult times but this sort of thing makes it quite a challenge.
