The Lee gets a rather poor press from the Guardian's eco-warrior, Leo

Some interesting facts emerge, e.g. the EA may do something about the  
duckweed near Stratford as it will otherwise look bad in aerial  
photos of the Olympic site.  Also, Jane Brown, the EA officer who  
oversees the Upper Lee, wishes more people took an interest in their  
local river.  It is clearly a request for comments.  Adrian, Moose -  
you have evidently been invited.
