Yes we do (7 days all singing & dancing) , but no we don't use it. Two reasons 1) there is no such thing as a regular "getting up time" in our family and it's a faff to programme anyway. 2) although I may be single handedly destroying the ice caps I subscribe to managing the temperature consistently rather than with ups and downs on a time basis. It's complicated on the boat where generally speaking the Squirrel provides plenty of heat when we are on board. At home we leave the heating on 24 hours and manually adjust the temperature 10/12 if we're going away, 14/16 at night or when we pop out, 18/20 during the waking hours. With half decent insulation this doesn't seem like an inefficient option. The point about the Mikuni is that there must be a way to put in a control that says " right then - you asked me to fire so I won't stop for an hour" and I'm surprised that it isn't commercially available or, for the price of a chinese chiplet, a standard fit ! On a further rake around the memory I'm wondering if it was Gibbo or perhaps JT, on the UKRECW channel, who was chuntering about this topic in the dim and distant. On the other hand - Mikuni must make a fortune on their spares, so fewer cooked components means fewer £s profit. Beeky
