I don't know if you are suffering from the same problem I do, but when my DG834G keeps going from one speed to another it eventually gets itself into a state. All the connection lights are on, but there is nobody home. After some time it may decide to work again, but this can vary from minutes to hours. You can usually tell when its in this state by going to the "Show Statistics" (that you've already found it seems) and the noise margin (i think it is) is a very silly large number. Hit the Router Reboot button. What I've found is that on a variable quality line, the router will keep trying to find the optimum speed to connect at and jump up and down in speed. It is possible to get your ISP to fix the line connection speed at their end. Probably safest to choose the lowest speed it usually connects at, but if you want to have a play then choose a slightly higher speed and see how it goes. I'd maybe go for 512 mb connection since it's a nice round number. Cheers, Mike -- Michael Askin http://shoestring_DOT_zapto_DOT_org/
