We have given up on 3 for phones, partly because of the poor reception
along much of the K&A, but also because they didn't work at home,
except when standing at an east-facing upstairs window. Not
brilliant, for a so-called mobile device. Gone to Vodafone for which
I already had a dongle that seemed to work rather better. ISTR that
both times we passed Wyrd in Hungerford last summer Trevor was posed
by a porthole with a phone clamped to his ear. But he did wave with
his spare hand.
