Trevor,  I have never worried too much about leaving my boat for a short time, 
especially outside school holidays.  Best to pick somewhere where there are 
other boats moored.  If you really want somewhere behind locked gates, I can 
put you in touch with our boat club at Alperton, but then there is the 
logistics of getting a key and possibly a short term mooring charge.
