Although Care2x might propose its own communication standard soon or in the future, other established protocols will not be ignored. In the future, Care2x will try to develop an abstraction layer that can handle different protocols including the much debated HL7. We like to develop Care2x as an intelligent application and one important aspect of intelligence is the ability to understand diverse information patterns.
