project which in 2001 was finally released as iPath.
And it is now GPL, what is good news to us.
I was planning to have some sort of inter-server connectivity in iPath
(xmlrpc) which would allow referrals to (virtual) specialist groups.
Ideally such a referral could be initiated simply from your hospital
system (care2x).
That would be a good aproach.
iPath is sepcilised in enabling collaboration of a group of specialists. It is currently used for some "virtual pathology department" servicing e.g. hospitals in Solomon Islands, Cambodia etc ....
Are you talking about the GPL version? Is this version already doing day-to-day real work?
At FOSSFA, we are actually thinking of including some additional services into care2x: - telemed referrals - virtual libraries (access to pubmed, etc) The idea would be that a number of hospitals equiped with care2x integrate into a network (maybe even including national DoHs)
Something like a free Oracle Collaboration Suite?
Any suggestions in this direction are very welcome!
Where can I see a live demo?
Best Regards,
J. Antas
