Please deprecate rather than remove. I currently use replicated OpenLDAP for the service registry on a CAS cluster (3.5.1).
Thanks for speaking up. We'll attempt to support you in some regard. I will review what it would take to provide equivalent functionality in ldaptive and provide the component if feasible, otherwise we'll deprecate. We may move it to another package to isolate the spring-ldap dependency. Let me know if that plan is acceptable to you.
